The reliability of your aircraft depends on rigorous inspection and testing programs, coupled with prompt corrective actions overseen by seasoned aviation mechanics. Two prerequisites define airworthiness:
As flight hours and calendar time accumulate throughout the lifespan of an aircraft, certain components undergo wear and others experience deterioration. To preemptively address these issues and ensure the continued airworthiness of the aircraft, specialized inspections are devised to identify and rectify any potential issues.

The 100 hr inspection (when applicable) and the Annual inspection per CFR part 43 appendix D covers an inspection that is looking for poor general condition, deterioration, distortion, evidence of failure, insecure attachment, improper installation, and improper component operation as applicable to the particular aircraft.
Appendix D provides a minimum checklist of items to be completed. Rite-Way has developed a flat rate inspection fee that incorporates this checklist for the various airplanes that we support along with a aircraft logbook review and any Airworthiness Directives (AD) that may be required to be completed.
Airworthiness directives (ADs) are published by the FAA. They apply to the following products: aircraft, aircraft engines, propellers, and appliances. The FAA issues airworthiness directives when an unsafe condition exists in a product, and the condition is likely to exist or develop in other products of the same type design.
Corrective actions are discussed with each aircraft owner and classified into two categories: Airworthiness items (required for airworthiness release) or Recommended items (owners' discretion).
Corrective action labor, parts, shipping and sales tax are in addition to the flat rate and are approved by the owner before work being conducted.
Manufacturers provide life, overhaul and recommended “maintenance” tasks as well as inspection tasks in the section of their maintenance manuals describing their inspection program specific to each make and model, serial number applicability, engine, accessory, component, service bulletins, service instructions and instructions for continued airworthiness.
The manufactures program is typically completed to meet warranty requirements as published by the manufacture, larger and higher valued aircraft or required for an FAA approved Air-Carrier.
